Bridgestone Off Road Radial Tire Plant

Scope of Work:
AIS Infrastructure began by performing pit excavation in conjunction with the shoring contractor. Subsequent additional contracts followed that included earthwork for new roads around the site, utility installation (storm drain, water distribution and sanitary sewer) and additional earthwork.

Details:

• 100,000 cubic yards of shored excavation for tire production pits
• Secondary land clearing
• 270,000 cubic yards of additional earthwork
• Finishing grading of site
• Erosion and sediment control installation and maintenance
• 8,500 linear feet of storm drain (18” – 72” reinforced concrete pipe and 95 structures)
• 3,500 linear feet of sanitary sewer (4”, 6” & 10” ductile iron pipe and 18 structures)
• 12,640 linear feet of water line and valves (1” copper pipe and 6”, 10” & 12” ductile iron pipe)
• 14,500 tons of graded aggregate base installed
