Scope of Work:

AIS Infrastructure was contracted to perform clearing and mass excavation for the new 200 acre power plant site.  Clearing, grubbing and mass excavation portion of the initial contract was completed in 3 months.

Details:

• 175 acres of clearing and grubbing
• 6 million cubic yards of excavation, 2.8 million yards of which was completed 3 months
• 118,600 tons of graded aggregate-base placed
• Erosion and sediment control installation and maintenance
• Installed underground utilities including storm water control and electrical duct bank
• MS Highway 493 modifications and improvements, and two new plant entrances
