AIS Infrastructure

At AIS Infrastructure, we believe infrastructure is more than concrete, steel, and earthwork. It is the foundation that communities depend on every day. For more than 40 years, we have delivered heavy civil construction and site development solutions that strengthen the systems people rely on most, including transportation, water resources, power, industrial, government, and commercial infrastructure.

What sets AIS Infrastructure apart is not only the work we build, but the way we build it.
We are driven by a commitment to safety, integrity, accountability, and operational excellence. Safety is not simply a program at AIS Infrastructure. It is a core value woven into every project, every plan, and every decision we make. Our teams are empowered to speak up, take ownership, and protect one another because we believe every employee deserves to return home safely at the end of the day.

Our culture is grounded in respect, teamwork, and doing what is right, even when no one is watching. We believe strong relationships are built through honesty, transparency, and follow-through. Whether working with clients, communities, subcontractors, or employees, we strive to be a trusted partner known for delivering results the right way.

AIS Infrastructure is proud to serve clients across the Southeast and throughout the United States with the experience, resources, and expertise to execute complex projects while maintaining the flexibility and responsiveness of a relationship-focused organization. Our people are the driving force behind our success. From the field to the office, we invest in developing leaders, supporting growth, and creating opportunities for the next generation of construction professionals.

Our Parent Company

Headquartered in Tempe, Arizona, AIS is a people-centric organization that has grown quickly to become a leading provider of industrial, environmental and nuclear, infrastructure, and specialty contracting services throughout the United States and select international locations. Unified by Purpose, the AIS family includes a collective of exceptional operating companies that comprise more than 250 years of operations and are aligned by a shared enterprise purpose – to leave things better than we found them.

AIS provides a variety of safe innovative solutions spanning from specialty craft services including painting, insulation and scaffolding to industrial cleaning, specialty demolition and dismantlement, environmental remediation and emergency response to professional services including program management, characterization, long term stewardship and non-destructive testing. We serve clients across the industrial services spectrum including power generation, pulp and paper, agriculture/food, petrochemical, technology, and federal agencies. Our suite of services is delivered by our operating companies in both maintenance and new construction environments.

AIS is wholly owned by Arctic Slope Regional Corporation (ASRC), an Alaska Native corporation (ANC). By virtue of ASRC ownership, all AIS companies are considered Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE), and Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB) when subcontracting with a prime contractor on a federal procurement. These attributes allow us to partner with clients to meet their diversity contracting goals without requiring them to assume additional performance risk and concurrently provide benefits for the over 14,000 Iñupiat owners of ASRC.

Our parent company, ASRC, was established in 1972 when the United States Congress passed the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA), which settled claims made by Alaska Natives. ASRC represents over 14,000 Iñupiat and works toward enhancing Iñupiaq cultural and economic freedoms. Today, through expansion and diversification, ASRC and its family of companies operate six diverse major business segments: government services, energy support services, specialty services, petroleum refining and marketing, construction, and resource development.
