Greg Thornton has more than 23 years of heavy civil construction experience focused on the government, heavy highway, ports, and waterway sectors. He has overseen domestic and international project logistics, day-to-day planning and execution, coordination with owner reps, contracts, and change orders for projects ranging from $5mm – 50mm. His experience also includes eight years as chief estimator managing all preconstruction activities and complete estimate teams on projects from inception to closeout, preconstruction planning for awarded projects, project setup including scheduling and budgeting, and project execution, with estimates ranging from 10mm – 250mm. Over the course of his career, Greg has managed projects for major clients including USACE, NAVFAC, US Air Force, Disney, Royal Caribbean, Mosaic, Port of Miami, and various DOTs and Port Authorities, to name a few. Greg holds General Contractor Licenses in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
